Meet The Team

Tina has managed Mere Preschool since September 2016. With a passion for early years, Tina has created a space where children can explore and learn in a stimulating environment and ensures all of the children in her care have the best possible experiences.

Natalie joined the team in 2018. She loves all things outdoors and shows a keen interest in forest schooling activities. Natalie is fantastic at creating wonderful experiences for the children and recently took over our planning within the setting. With her curious nature, she always has the children exploring and experimenting with new ideas!

Mel joined us in January 2021. Joining us from another early years setting, Mel has brought lots of wonderful ideas with her and loves everything messy! Mel is passionate about Speech & Language Development and leads our BLAST sessions.

Sandy has been the longest standing employee at Mere Preschool and has watched children move through the preschool, into school and then into their jobs! Sandy is a highly valued member of the team and is the glue that holds us all together. With her warm nature, wonderful stories and lots of affection, the children love to be around her.

Hannah first joined us as a volunteer in 2022, helping out as and when we needed her. We saw something in Hannah and knew we wanted to keep her! Her creativity is inspiring. She is caring and a lovely role model for the children. Hannah has just started her Level 3 in Early Years and is really looking forward to getting know every part of what we do and why.

Jan came to us in September 2023, looking for a change in career and wanting to follow her dreams of working with children and we're glad she did! Jan is full of enthusiam and brings lots of great ideas to the setting. She has a wonderful energy and her favourite thing to do is to talk to the children...which probably comes from her hairdressing days!

Jan has just started her Level 2 in Early Years.
